Overview:
The Cre8 Youth and Community Programme (Cre8), an initiative of the Churches in Macclesfield, began working with at-risk and socially excluded young people and their families in 2005. It provides:

Life experiences and opportunities;
Social support;
Education;
Work experience and employment.

Cre8 Works was established four years ago as a business on social enterprise principles. It has already gained a reputation for well-managed and good quality work in the areas of landscaping and grounds maintenance. The majority of the work is for the principal social landlord in Macclesfield. You can find out more about Cre8 Works in their website

The opportunity is:

To lead teams of one or two young people/young adults to carry out practical work on site;
To plan, schedule and organise work appropriately and manage the operations of Cre8 Works;
To establish and manage the Cre8 Works budget;

The person we seek:

Has a real passion for helping young people to achieve their potential;
Is energetic with a ‘can-do’ attitude;
Is reliable, conscientious and professional;
Has proven experience of working in landscaping and grounds maintenance;
Has practical experience of tree care and felling, preferably with a recognised qualification;
Preferably has other useful recognised qualifications, for example in health and safety;
