Lion comes to Club

Macclesfield & District Lions recently donated £1,000 to support the work of the Cre8 youth and community project on the Moss Rose Estate in Macclesfield. Chesney Orme, President of the 'Macc Lions', came along to Cre8 Club for primary school aged young people, to explain about the Lions organisation and the work they support.

Macc Lions, a voluntary group, has been running for the past 40 years and raises around £18,000 a year to support groups and activities across the district.

Cre8 is a Macclesfield-based charity that provides projects and activities for young people and their families. Their work is aimed towards empowering young people and adults in the local area to make change happen for themselves and also for their local neighbourhood.
