The 2017 Team from our Club night for young people aged 8-11
Rob is one of Cre8's founding members and as Director has overall responsibility for all Cre8 operations, the budget and our social enterprise businesses. Rob is also a Trustee of the Cre8 charity.
Amy started in January 2018 and joins us all the way from Bolton! She's at most of our Youth Projects and once she's settled in we're sure she'll be doing some activities of her own before long.
RACHEL WARDLE (MARSHALL)
As a qualified Teacher, Rachel is currently providing cover for the role of Internal Verifier on our NOCN courses on Learning Plus and Music.
PROJECT SUPPORT & MUSIC TUTOR
Tim works part time in the office supporting the youth work team and then spends his time teaching our Music Award group as well as encouraging young people to take up his passion for guitar and ukelele!
YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER
Keirra joined Cre8 as an original when she was 13 and came to our Youth Club! She's Moss Estate born and bred. Cre8 supported Keirra through her Level 3 in Youth & Community Work and she now looks after our Youth Club for young people aged 8-11 as well some Learning Plus sessions.
YOUTH WORK SUPERVISOR
Tom joined Cre8 in 2012 after a stint at Camas and studying Youth & Community work. He's now responsible for all Cre8's youth work projects and a large part of his work is managing workers and supporting young people. He's also trying to find time to complete his studies in Management for Children and Young People's Services.
Sarah studied Youth & Community work supported by Cre8 after joining the admin team when her son Daley started coming to our Youth Club. A few years on and after a stint as a Youth Worker Sarah is now looking after all our day to day finances (but she is passionate about community work and is always in the background supporting and organising!)
Ash is a practical man and can take apart and fix just about anything! He joined Cre8 as a young person refusing to go to school many years ago. He now goes out doing practical work with young people and young adults on our social enterprises.
After a few years volunteering a day a week doing admin, Katy came on board full time in 2011. She heads up the admin team and looks after the support that goes behind our youth work projects and community events. If you email, phone, message us or come in to Cre8 - it'll probably be Katy that you meet.
MUSIC SESSION LEADER
Rachel is unbelievably musically talented and passionate about supporting young people. Rachel works on our Music Project, singing her way through the day.
Glenys is a lay reader at St Barnabas Church as well as working part time at Cre8 helping with admin and reception.
MUSIC SESSION LEADER
Ollie is part of the Music Team and can be found playing the piano at music drop-ins and teaching on our Music Award course.
Martin has been around Cre8 for a long time and is currently working on our social enterprise Cre8 Facilities. He lives on the Moss with his soon-to-be-wife Cherell and their two beautiful girls.
CHAIR OF TRUSTEES
Jen joined Cre8 as a Trustee in 201 and took over the role of Chair in Summer 2017. Jen's background was HR executive at AstraZeneca and she brings a wealth of experience to our Board. She's also a member of Holy Trinity Church in Hurdsfield.
Martin is an accountant and has been with Cre8 since 2016. He loves his cricket too!
Jayne lives on the Moss and is a warden at St Barnabas Church She's also passionate about community and getting people doing things!
Andrea came and did her placement at Cre8 during her degree studies in Youth work. She's now the Youth Minister at St Peter's Prestbury working on the Upton Priory Estate. She joined our Trustee Team in late 2017 and brings her wealth of youth work experience.
Ameera has been a Trustee since 2011 and is a member of St Barnabas PCC. She's Head of Technical Services at Salford Uni @MediaCity. And she's awesome.
Ruth is a GP and commissioner of mental health services as well as a member of St Michaels Church in Macclesfield.
James joined us in 2017 and is a lawyer and Green Party candidate for Macclesfield, as well as a member of St Michaels Church.
Adam spent a couple of years working on Cre8's Learning Plus project after volunteering at Camas. He eventually moved full time to Macclesfield and went on to study social work. He's now a full time social worker in Buxton and towards the end of 2017 became a Trustee of Cre8.
In July 2015 Cre8 was awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service - the MBE for voluntary organisations - in recognition of our amazing, creative, practical, enthusiastic, passionate and committed volunteers. The Award was for them. You can read more about it by clicking here.
