Volunteers

Cre8's projects are heavily supported by volunteers and we couldn't run the majority of what we do without them. Volunteers run clubs, lead one to one sessions and teach music, as well as behind the scenes roles like driving the minibus, setting up tents on residentials and cooking meals for young people.
In July 2015 Cre8 was awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service - the MBE for voluntary organisations - in recognition of our amazing, creative, practical, enthusiastic, passionate and committed volunteers. The Award was for them. You can read more about it by clicking here.

A key part of Cre8 is ensuring long term sustainability and encouraging young adults to give back to their community. Many of the young adults who have progressed through Cre8 are now coming back as volunteers.

We try and use the skills of the volunteer to add to our range of activities which means the young people get to try something new and the passion and enthusiasm of the volunteer really shines through.
If you're interested in becoming a volunteer check out our Volunteering page by clicking here.
