Cre8 Learning Plus works with young people who are severely struggling with the challenges of mainstream education to such a degree that it affects their behaviour and attendance at school.

Our aim is to help these young people grow in self-awareness, self-esteem and interpersonal skills, and so be equipped to reconnect and be more engaged at school.
Young people referred to us have one to one sessions. This fosters trust in adult session leaders from the young person and so increases self esteem and confidence. Sessions teach life skills and begin to deal with issues such as anger management, sexual health, low self worth, and lack of confidence. Sometimes, the sessions are just a safe place for that young person. Learning Plus shows young people that they are valued and that people are interested in their contributions. |
