We run a wide range of projects for young people (usually aged between 8 right up to 25) and their families, from the Moss Rose Estate in Macclesfield. See below for more information regarding the individual projects.

We've been running youth clubs since Cre8 began in 2006. They are the heartbeat of what we do.  They are full of fun, food, games & challenges!

The majority of leaders at youth clubs are volunteers from the local community on the Moss.

If you want to join, please do get in touch.

The Cre8 Music Project has provided music-making opportunities for young people on the Moss estate in Macclesfield for over 15 years from our purpose-built music studio and community building.  Cre8 Music builds confidence and creates a positive identity for young people

We run the following weekly sessions on a Thursday that are open to all :
Primary Band - 3:30pm to 4:30pm
Secondary Band - 4:30pm to 5:30pm
Secondary Plus Band - 4:30pm to 5:30pm

Each band session is run by professional musicians who with the help of music support workers and youth workers help young people learn a musical instrument, play in a group, and then perform.

Young people with no experience are very welcome and they can learn instruments including: Bass, Drums, Guitar, Piano, Singing, Ukulele.

We also have music production facilities for young people keen to set down tracks, rap or spit bars!

There are regular concerts & performance opportunities for young people to showcase their talent.

You may also see us in school providing workshops or singing assemblies.  We also invite school groups to our music building for workshops.  Giving local young people unique opportunities to play music.

We have close links with Youth Justice and provide life changing workshop for these young people.

Music also forms a key part of our summer programme with regular summer activities and outreach happening and lots of music when on residentials.

Our grocery is a surplus food re-distribution service operating across Macclesfield. Providing surplus food donated from retailers to individuals, families, other organisations, charities, and community groups in the area.

But it is so much more than food.....

Each grocery has time and space for brews and chat; communities connecting, people getting to know each other.

We provide young people with unique work experience opportunities; giving significance to young people in our communities.

Support organisations often attend the groceries, giving people a opportunity to get support locally.

Groceries are used as a springboard for larger community activities or outings.

Cre8 Learning Plus works with young people who are severely struggling with the challenges of mainstream education to such a degree that it affects their behaviour & attendance at school.

Our aim is to help these young people grow in self-awareness, self esteem & interpersonal skills, and so be equipped to reconnect & be more engaged at school.

Young people referred to us have one to one sessions. This fosters trust in adult session leaders from the young person & so increases self esteem & confidence. Sessions teach life skills & begin to deal with issues such as anger management, sexual health, low self worth & lack of confidence.

Learning plus shows young people that they are valued & that people are interested in their contributions.

We follow the National Youth Work Curriculum designed & created by the National Youth Agency.

Providing life changing opportunities to work

Our passion is to engage with young people, helping them unlock potential to bring about change in their own lives and the life of their community. We do this by providing opportunities to work and do something constructive.

We run two social enterprise businesses: Cre8 Facilities and Cre8 Enterprise.

We provide services for individuals and businesses, always using young people and young adults as the core work force. In particular we engage with young people who are Not in Education Employment or Training, NEET.  We work to a professional standard and uphold health and safety requirements to the highest standard.

The triple impact of our Social Enterprise Businesses:
1. Young people are given opportunity to flourish
2. Our clients get a service
3. An income is generated for Cre8 through work

Our aim is that young people move through the Steps To Work process, and ultimately leave Cre8 to bigger and better things.

Each youth club runs at least one residential each year. It's a great way to help a group bond & strengthen relationships - they're also really good fun!

Residential are often the highlight of the year.  From over nights to week long trips, from camping nearby to visiting remote Scottish islands, from working trips to festival trips, each residential is unique.  They provide an opportunity to get away somewhere different, be challenged, have fun, and make some lasting memories.
See below for a few examples of past residentials.
