 Project Grow

Project Grow envisions a sustainable, low-cost food network, accessible neighbourhood green space, local people developing their own community, and health & well-being activities. It's built on community initiated ideas and experience from activities that Cre8 have been involved in.

Surplus Food Grocery

Community

Our grocery is a membership based, surplus food re-distribution service operating across Macclesfield. Providing surplus food donated from retailers to individuals, families, other organisations, charities, and community groups in the area. Click to see more about this amazing project!

Allotment & Garden

Our Open Garden takes place every Friday, 1-3pm, at Saint Barnabas Church on Lyme Avenue. Here
​we have both a community garden and an allotment Anyone is welcome to come and join in! Head on
​down to do some gardening, have a chat, and take a look at what's going on. Follow our Facebook page for any additional information.

Supporting our community to come together for events and activities that build and strengthen relationships. This includes: One-off events such as fairs, meals, workshops and fun-days; A programme of cooking courses built around fighting food waste and learning new skills; and neighbourhood lunches that bring people together.

Health & Wellbeing

Cre8 runs a range of activities and events to encourage people of all ages to keep healthy. These include a running club that took part in Run Macc Fest. Keep an eye out on our Facebook for more activities and events like these!

Cost of Living Campaign

​1,000 charities like us are calling on the government to step up to tackle food waste and do more to help us access food to support people struggling with the #costofliving crisis. ​
