Each youth club runs at least one residential each year. It's a great way to help a group bond and strengthen relationships - they're also really good fun!

Help us raise money towards Cre8’s Camas trip 2023! Camas is an important and formational part of the year for our young people from our Secondary Youth Club. Camas is the Iona Community’s outdoor activity centre on the Isle of Mull in Scotland. There is a strong focus on building community and connection; with each other and our surroundings. 2022 Residential to Camas, Scotland
For the first time in a few years, in August 2022, we were able to reinstate our residential trip to the Iona Community's Camas Centre. It was good to be back!
After a long drive it was very rewarding to see the reaction of the 16 young people we took on the trip who were really excited by their new surroundings - remote fisherman cottages by the edge of the sea.
The week was jam-packed with fun and activities from kayaking and abseiling, to games, boat trip, fishing, beach trips, and swimming. Every morning before breakfast, a few hardy people took on the daily Granite Challenge: A swim in the sea at 8am. This would be followed by an amazing breakfast of porridge, cereals and scones - the scones at Camas are the best! Chores followed, where everyone had to do a chore to keep the place tidy. We then would do a reflection, then an activity before sitting down for lunch. The afternoon was set aside for another activity before tea then games and reflection in front of the fire in the evening. There are no lights or electricity at the centre, so it was torches all the way to bed. Learning to live together has its ups and downs and we had to work a few things out along the way; but our days were full and good. We're definitely going back!

2018 Greenbelt Arts & Music Festival, Kettering
Greenbelt is a Christian Arts & Music Festival that is celebrating it's 43rd year this year. We've been taken small groups of older young people (usually aged 14+) for around 7 years. The Festival is very family and young people friendly. It offers a safe place, a welcoming environment and a positive atmosphere. The programme includes all different types of music, as well as creative activities, artistic installations, have a go workshops, and also talks on politics, faith & justice. Young people seem to really enjoy it, and we have received a small number of free tickets through 'Trust Greenbelt' which enables us to take young people from our music project.
2018 Egerton Hall, Rostherne, Knutsford
Our youngest youth club go on residentials, usually for 2 nights. We build on the principles of community living by doing jobs together (clearing/cleaning up after ourselves), cooking together, and having fun together. These trips are often the first time young people will have been away from home without their family. They are fantastic for building relationships and enable us to have strong link with young people as they get older.
